Interlude

I hate the phrase "for the win."  I think it sounds stupid and every time I read it or hear it, I immediately think the offender is an idiot.  It is only acceptable and relevant if you are actually engaged in some sort of competition; otherwise, you sound stupid.  I get a similar feeling when someone uses a word that they clearly don't fully understand the definition of... like irony.
